He currently serves as the Managing Director of Asteric Asset Management Limited, where he provides strategic leadership, oversees investment management activities, and drives the company’s growth agenda. Over the course of his career, he has built deep expertise in portfolio management, investment strategy, financial modelling, business valuation, risk management, corporate finance, and capital market operations.Desmond has successfully led high-value transactions, developed impactful investment strategies, and built strong relationships with key stakeholders across the financial services ecosystem.
He holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, and an MBA in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is a SEC-Sponsored Individual, an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Exchange, and holds professional certifications from the Nigerian Capital Market Institute and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.

As Executive Director, Operations at Asteric Asset Management Limited, he oversees operational strategy, enterprise risk management, governance, service delivery, and performance optimization.He has built a strong reputation for driving operational excellence, strengthening business performance, and creating sustainable value through strategic execution and stakeholder engagement.
Before joining Asteric Asset Management, he held senior leadership roles at Vaulta Technologies Incorporated and First City Monument Bank, where he led initiatives in market expansion, fintech partnerships, customer service, treasury operations, and process improvement.effective stakeholder engagement to drive innovation, growth, and long-term value creation.

Akinkunmi Abimbola is a seasoned banker, financial strategist, and business development executive with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting, is a Fellow of Customer Experience Management, and has deep expertise in business development, asset management, money market operations, financial advisory, and strategic growth.
As Executive Director, Business Development at Asteric Asset Management, he leads business expansion, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and value creation initiatives. He is known for his strategic insight, strong relationship-building skills, and results-driven leadership, with a passion for entrepreneurship, leadership development, and economic empowerment.

Babatunde Saka is a seasoned financial reporting expert and finance professional with over 20 years of experience across financial reporting, corporate finance, investment decision-making, portfolio management, treasury management, fund valuation, management accounting, real estate, oil and gas, telecommunications, logistics, mutual funds, and securities investment. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, UK, a member of the Corporate Finance Institute, Canada, and a certified IFRS professional. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting/Finance from Lagos State University and an MBA in Financial Management from Obafemi Awolowo University.
Before his appointment as Chief Financial Officer of Veritasi Homes & Properties Plc, he held senior finance roles across several organizations, including One17 Capital Limited, Cleanserve Integrated Energy Solutions, Grand Towers Group, Protea/Marriott Hotel Kuramo Waters, Fortune Global Shipping and Logistics, Lotus Capital Limited, and Mandilas Enterprises Limited. He has also received extensive training in corporate strategy, business valuation, financial modelling, budgeting, IFRS, corporate governance, leadership, and risk management. Babatunde is also a co-founder and Director of Finance at Leverage Associates Limited and is recognized for his strong leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence.
